Overview |
The route to Thérouanne is easy and uses roads to take a more direct route to follow the ancient Le Leulene Roman Road which sadly is submerged beneath the modern roadways. |
1 - From the Abbey Notre Dame in Wisques continue down Rue de la Fontaine to the crossroads and turn right (this road is very busy, be careful). Turn left down the road - direction Esquerdes.
2 - At the road in the village turn left and then right to go down Rue Leon Blum. Then stay on the main road keeping left and then right to cross the railway. Follow the road and continue to and through Crehem on the D192. Cross over the crossroads direction Thérouanne to Herbelles. In Herbelles continue straight ahead to pass left of the green and down Rue Brocquoise (No through entry except local traffic.)
3 - At the main road turn left to the roundabout and travel direction straight ahead - Therouanne D341. Follow the main road through the village of Thérouanne to pass the church on the right - Carrefour supermarket sign right. Follow this sign and the Marie is opposite the entrance to the supermarket.
