The route follows the Ver-Colne Valley Walk, Hertfordshire Way, London Loop, Dollis Valley Greenwalk, Thames Path, Darent Valley Path, North Downs Way and the Pilgrim Way. It is always nice to walk alongside water and the River Ver gives no disappointment. As it is not a long day take the time to enjoy the many and varied natural sights that may be seen along the way. Pass the site of Park Street Roman Villa, meander along country tracks and pathways before entering Aldenham Country Park and the end of this stage - Elstree, famous for it television studios and film sets.
